Drama Kids - 
Community Center, Upper Level

Casting call for ALL KINDS OF KIDS!  Whether your child is outgoing or shy, Drama Kids is perfect for them.  This effective drama program embraces both extroverted and introverted kids and allows them to come together to share creative ideas.  It will nurture both the leader and listener in your child, and they will develop skills way beyond the stage of general communication which will include focus, creativity, voice development, improvisation and movement.  Plus, they will have an amazing, fun time and get to meet new friends!  You can join at any time.

Who doesn’t love a good book! This FREE story time brought to you by Loudoun County Library takes place every Tuesday morning at the Community Center.  Parents, stroll on over with your little one for a fun and interactive story time that your children will be sure to love. No sign-up required.

Tree House Kids Yoga

Community Center, Upper Level

Yoga promotes health and well-being for the body, mind and, spirit. Children love the practice and the way they feel afterward.  It brings awareness to themselves and others, in a practice of mindful movement both physically and emotionally.   Each class will be based on a theme, and we will take a journey through movement while making it fun with yogi games, songs and books. Children learning the benefits of yoga and relaxation are building skills they can use throughout their lives and creating a foundation for a happy and healthy life.

Arpan Dance Academy - Community Center, Lower Level

Kathak, Indian folks and Modern Dances. 

Kathak is a traditional Indian classical dance form, where students learn the basic principles that embody the grace, posture, mind, and spirit of the dance in a traditional ambiance. This dance form is very similar with Tap, Flamenco and includes Ballet movements. Students learn pure dance techniques, which include movement, proper posture, stretching, basic footwork, spins, rhythmic patterns, timing and the language of the dance syllable and eligible to earn International degree in dance, Pracheen Kala Kendra , affiliated by University Grant Commission, India. Students will also have opportunity to perform in local events. The lessons will include all the assortments of folks dance from all states of India, contemporary & semi classical dance in modern/bollywood tune, and prepare the students to be capable of choreographing independently, in a short period of time.

WEDNESDAY CLASS - INFANT AND TODDLER - 10:15am Toddler / 11:00am Infant
Is your little one ready to shake, rock, giggle and roll? This class is a perfect way to get your infant or toddler engaged in the magical world of music and movement.  Parent and child will enjoy time together playing instruments, singing songs, working on motor skills and meeting new friends.  This  program introduces new music class and provides each family with a free CD with your class registration so you and your little one can continue to move at home.

Pre-schoolers are ready and able to embark on a musical journey of discovery and exploration…a journey limited only by the power of imagination. Pretend play activities are integrated with music, vocal development, storytelling, movement and literature to capture your child's potential to learn and to encourage cognitive and literacy skills, creativity and individuality, as well as musical readiness. Little Hands Preschooler classes are designed for active, energetic, enthusiastic, and imaginative 3- and 4-year-olds and encourage socialization, sharing, and participating in group activities. Singing becomes a focus for enhancing the preschooler's vocal development as her expressive language is just beginning to emerge. Lots of hands-on activities with a variety of instruments! Parents are invited to participate in the last 10 minutes for Sharing Time of the 45-minute class.

Bollywood Dance Class

Studio Dhoom has been providing professional dance instruction in a variety of traditional and modern Indian dance styles to students of all age groups and skill levels in the Northern Virginia area.

TUESDAY CLASS - January 24 - May 30
Pre-Teens/Teens Bollywood Dance Class - AGES 12.5 - 16 yrs - TIME 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm
This is a transitional class for older Juniors looking to advance to the Teens class. This class is a fun and energetic class which will include all the Bollywood rhythmic footwork like Folk and Contemporary (including Hip Hop, Jazz and more) on the latest Bollywood tunes! 

WEDNESDAY CLASS - January 25 - May 31
Tiny Tots Bollywood Dance Class - AGES 4 - 6 yrs - TIME - 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Designed for the curious (and may be a little anxious) young girls and boys who love to dance. The focus will be teaching the very basic steps of Bollywood dancing while having fun. 

Kids Bollywood Dance Class - AGES 6.5 - 8.5 yrs - TIME - 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm 
Focus on developing movement skills, teaching proper dance postures and stimulating energy and creativity of the young learners. Students will learn various dance steps while learning the fundamentals and principles of dance on famous Bollywood tunes. This class will include combination of basic dance steps and movements. 

Juniors Bollywood Dance Class - AGES 9.5 - 12.5 yrs - TIME 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm
A fun and energetic class which will include all the Bollywood rhythmic footwork like Folk and Contemporary (including Hip Hop, Jazz and more) on the latest Bollywood tunes! With every class, students will learn a new set of easy-to-follow dance combination and will gradually progress into more advanced dance steps and routines.

Wee Little Arts is a process oriented approach to preschool arts education that has been overwhelmingly successful in engaging and empowering children by helping discover the creative process.  Wee Little Arts is a method of releasing the natural creativity of young children through the use of mixed-media, drawing, painting and three dimensions.

Silver Knights Chess
- Community Center, Lower Level

Playing chess can raise your IQ, exercise both sides of the brain, increase your creativity, and improve your memory and reading skills.  Plus, it’s a fun game you can play for the rest of your life! Have your child learn these skills from a Silver Knight Chess coach! This club is open to children of all skill levels and consists of lessons and strategy as well as competitions against opponents of similar skill. Grades K – 6.

Loudoun Cotillion will empower your children for a lifetime of success. Watch your child's confidence, manners, and etiquette skills grow. The cotillion program will help teach your child integrity, honesty, compassion and service. 

PRE-COTILLION PROGRAM -  Super Hero Course - Prevent Bullying, Table manners, Leadership Skills
This course will teaches your younger child through role playing, hands-on experience, skits, and storytelling in peer groups. Thank you notes, table manners, sports manners, social dance, and personal appearance are among the skills taught.
