Development Activity Update – Brambleton’s developer continues to perform bond release activity throughout the community. Work may include asphalt repair; concrete marking, break and repair; marking, or digging and installation of street lights. Work typically begins in the early morning and is complete by the early afternoon. In addition to the ongoing development in the community, for the week of 2/29/16, bond release activity may occur in the following sections:
Safe Sitter Course - March 6th, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Brambleton Corner Clubhouse. This course is designed for ages 11-14. Course includes The Official Safe Sitter® Babysitter's Handbook with Completion Card. Register by February 28th at www.frontlinescpr.com.
Join Us For Comedy Night - Need something to do Friday night, March 11th? Join us at Brambleton Corner Clubhouse for a night full of good laughs. Doors open at 7:30 PM, show starts at 8:00 PM. CPR Class Returns to Brambleton - March 26th, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Brambleton Community Center. Early Bird Registration Special for Theaterpalooza Summer Camp – This two week summer camp will be held at Brambleton Corner Clubhouse from June 20th – July 1st for kids age 5 to 14. Campers will be fully immersed in acting, voice, dance, and skill development as they prepare their production of Aladdin. Support Rock Ridge Girls Lacrosse on Spirit Night at Burger 21 - March 2nd, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The team will receive 15% of proceeds from purchases made by guests who bring a Spirit Night flyer.
Mothers' Support Group at Stone Springs Hospital Center - Wednesday, March 2nd (occurs every Wednesday), 10:00 AM -11:00 AM. The Mothers' Support Group is free and open to all new and experienced mothers. Each week we will be talking about a different topic related to mothering and caring for your newborn. Come to our group and meet other mothers in your area who are facing and embracing the challenges and joys of motherhood! We look forward to seeing you and your little one soon!
Free Gardening Lecture: All About Water Gardening - March 3rd, 7:00 PM at Rust Library. Enjoy an overview of water gardening and learn just how easy and rewarding this experience can be, whether you’re installing a pond or a container water garden on your patio. The presentation will cover descriptions of suitable plants, fish, installation, stocking, maintenance and the secrets of clean, clear water. Parking in Brambleton
- When parking in Brambleton, vehicles must comply with legal requirements
and the Association’s governing documents
. While performing community-wide inspections throughout Brambleton, Staff will make note of vehicles which are parked in violation of these requirements. Vehicles will be cited for expired tags, improper storage, and/or as junk or derelict. BCA Staff takes enforcement actions as outlined in BCA’s Vehicle Policy Resolution
. For violations of state or county parking requirements, the Association will defer enforcement to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s office. The non-emergency number for LCSO is 703-777-1021. Please contact the Covenants team

– The addition of new exterior lighting requires review and approval prior to installation. Proposed replacement or additional fixtures must be compatible in style and scale with the applicant's house. Exterior light fixtures for attached homes must be maintained in the original style, material, quality, and color as originally provided by the builder. Exterior lighting, including motion sensors, flood lights, and entrance lights shall be directed downward and not outside or off of the applicant's property. Proposed additional lighting shall not be approved if it will result in an adverse visual impact to adjoining neighbors because of location, wattage, or other features. – The next meeting for Design Review will be Monday, March 14, 2016 at 7:00 PM. If you would like your application reviewed for accuracy prior to the meeting, please submit it prior to March 7, 2016. Applications will be accepted in the office up to 4:00 PM on March 14 but may not be reviewed for accuracy and completion prior to the meeting.
