Construction Activity in the Town Center and Area South of Sport&Health - During July and August, land development and construction activity will continue in the Town Center.  Please use caution and do not enter into construction areas.  There will be periods of blasting that will allow for installation of underground utilities.  Steps are being taken to reduce any negative impact on residents.  Please click here for more information.  We appreciate your patience as the Town Center enters into its final stages of completion.  

Parking Space Striping on Recently Seal Coated Streets – BCA and its contractors will be striping town home parking spaces on streets that were recently seal coated.  Parking in these spaces will not be permitted during the scheduled time.  Fire lanes will also be repainted.  Vehicles parked in the spaces will be relocated by tow trucks.  The schedule is below (subject to change due to weather):

  • Section 16 (Eversole, Redstone, Rockslide and all other adjacent streets) and Pecos parking lot – Parking spaces will be closed on Friday 7/8 and Saturday 7/9
  • Belmont Trace (Connie Marie, Franklin Benjamin, Patrick Wayne, and all other adjacent streets) - Parking spaces will be closed on Monday 7/11.

Comment Period:  Dragonfly Park on Legacy Park Drive – The park was constructed in 2002 and is starting to show its age.  In an effort to keep our community well maintained and current, the Facilities and Grounds committee and the BCA staff have worked together to create a conceptual plan that enhances the park's vista of the lake, while incorporating more passive and native elements into the park.  Please take a minute to review the plan and provide any comments or feedback to by July 18, 2016.

Development Activity Update – Brambleton’s Developer continues to perform bond release activity throughout the community. Unless otherwise specified, work may include asphalt repair, concrete marking, break and repair; marking, or digging and installation of street lights. Work typically begins in the early morning and is complete by the early afternoon. In addition to the ongoing development in the community, for the week of 7/11/16, bond release activity may occur in the following sections (see site map for locations):

  • Section 29 - Paving

  • Rock On With Rocknocerous - July 14th, 10:00 AM.  Bring the little ones to the Town Center Amphitheater near Legacy Park and Emberbrook Circle for this free, interactive performance by one of the region's most popular kids' acts.
  • Float & Flicks Is Back! - July 15th at Brambleton Corner Pool.  This free event is perfect for the whole family. This month's featured movie is Zootopia!  Concessions will be available for purchase.  Movie starts at dusk. Don't forget your pool pass!  Visit our website for more information.
At both events, families will have the chance to win a week of free tuition from Chesterbrook Academy. Families who attend either event and schedule a tour within a week will also have their registration free waived if they decide to enroll during the tour. Proposed Design Guideline Revisions Ready For Public Comment - Please visit the website to review the proposed revisions to certain sections of BCA's Design Guidelines related to Home Based Businesses and Vehicles.  You'll find the timeline for review, comment, and adoption.  Staff and the committee continue to review the Design Guidelines and policy resolutions to find ways to support transparency, ease of understanding, and alignment between the documents. Shop and Adopt at This Week’s Farmers’ Market! - July 10th. Looking for a new furry friend?  The Loudoun Animal Shelter will be at the Farmers’ Market this Sunday with shelter pets ready for immediate adoption.  The Brambleton Farmers’ Market is at Legacy Park on Sundays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and features a variety locally-grown produce and meats, as well as fresh baked breads, pastries, salsas, spreads and even olive oil!  For those who want a little exercise on Sunday morning, don’t miss the guided bike ride along the trails led by Bicycle Outfitters.  Meet in Legacy Park for the first ride at 9:15 AM or the second ride at 10:00 AM.  Bring a helmet!

Healthy Living Expo - July 24th (rain date July 31st).  We’re just two weeks away from Brambleton’s first-ever Healthy Living Expo.  Vendors will be on hand to promote the many dimensions of well-being.  Learn about Brambleton’s partnership with StoneSprings Hospital to bring you MyBramHealth and our first community-wide challenge, get a free chair massage, attend a BodyCombat fitness class by Sport&Health, let the kids compete in fun obstacle courses, jump around on a Fit Fun Bus, and enter to win raffles and door prizes!


Loudoun County Officials Want Motorists to Be Aware of Signage and Striping Planned for Belmont Ridge Road and Northstar Blvd. - Beginning on or about July 18th, and continuing through approximately July 29th, modifications will be made to the existing intersection. During this period, there will be varying lane closures between 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday. Varying lane closures will affect Belmont Ridge Road, Northstar Boulevard, and the Brambleton Park entrance road in the vicinity of the intersection.  More information can be found at
