Dulles Community Outreach Kickoff Open House & Meeting Scheduled for the Evening of January 22, 2015
Brambleton Community Association encourages residents to participate in this opportunity to provide feedback to Loudoun County to help identify neighborhood and community-wide priorities and to develop recommended strategies to aid in future planning and programmatic activities.
The Loudoun County Department of Planning and Zoning wants to hear from stakeholders of the Dulles community about their perceptions of living and working in the community. In addition to making a presentation on the existing and planned conditions of the Dulles community on January 22, Loudoun County staff will introduce the project’s multiple outreach methods including online surveys, web-based forums, interactive mapping, focus groups, and community work sessions. Active outreach efforts will continue through the spring of 2015, providing numerous opportunities for community members to share their desires for the development of their neighborhoods.
The project team, with the help of staff from The Loudoun County Public Schools and The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, will host an open house in the facility’s Banquet Room from 5:30 - 8:00 PM, with a presentation at 7:00 PM. During that presentation, guest speaker Kevin Days, Associate Director of the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC), will discuss the importance and efficacy of public engagement for building stronger communities and stronger individuals. The project team warmly invites you to attend the event, even if only for a portion of the time.
