Development Activity Update - Brambleton’s developer has advised our office that bond release construction work will begin, or continue, in the sections noted below. The type of work to be done may include asphalt repair; concrete marking, break and repair; marking, or digging and installation of street lights. Work of this nature typically begins in the early morning and is completed by the early afternoon. All work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled based upon weather or other unforeseen conditions. See the site map for the location of each section. For the week of 5/4-5/8 the following activity is planned:
- Section 15 - Bond Release activity
- Section 12 & 18 - Turf repair in street light installation areas
Our office works closely with the Developer’s office to include information in the Friday Flash; however, with the unpredictable pace of these activities, it is not always possible. We do serve as the liaison to the Developer’s office, so if you have questions, contact us via email or Submit a Request on our website.

Contacting the Association to Report a Concern - Residents are encouraged to contact the Association regarding any concerns. Brambleton’s governing documents detail the requirement for concerns to be submitted in writing. This can be through email or on the website under “Submit a Request”. The Association recognizes the desire of some residents to remain anonymous when reporting certain concerns. However, if no contact information is given, then follow up is not possible. BCA encourages residents to open a free email without your name to facilitate our ability to communicate updates.
Growing Season - A friendly reminder that the growing season is under way and grass is growing rapidly. The onset of spring showers makes the grass grow faster then it will later in the season. It is possible to need to mow every five – seven days during the growing season. Weeds enjoy the spring as well and now is a great time to add pre - emergent weed control to your lawn.
Applications - Application submission is in full gear for spring projects. The Association is receiving a very high volume of applications. Staff would like the opportunity to review the application for accuracy prior to the meeting. Therefore applications should be submitted no later than the Wednesday prior to the meeting. Take steps to review the guidelines and the website for information regarding the process and what is needed in a complete application so that nothing holds up the review process. The next meeting for review is May 11, 2015.
