COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Dogs Off Leash - There have been several reported sightings of pet owners allowing their dogs to run off-leash, especially on Brambleton trails. In Loudoun County, including Brambleton, dogs are not permitted to roam free without a leash, and pet owners are required to pick up after their pets. To report animals running at large, dogs barking, or pet owners not cleaning up after their pets, please contact Loudoun County Animal Control. Brambleton’s Policy Resolution #7, Pet Policies, outlines both the grounds for complaint and finding of a community nuisance as well as the procedures for solving pet problems. We encourage residents to talk to each other prior to escalating concerns to the County or Association. To discuss your concern with an Association team member, please contact communitystandards@brambleton.org.

Construction of Approved Modifications - Owners are responsible for ensuring that their contractors adhere to Brambleton’s standards and rules. It is important to know that construction materials of any kind may not be stored in common parking lots, common areas, or in the street. Nothing, including excavated materials such as grass clippings, turf, dirt, sand, or rocks, may be dumped in any wooded areas, common areas, and/or especially the wetlands. When planning a project, BCA recommends that your review the plans for proper placement and storage of construction materials and for the proper disposal of debris with the contractor to avoid costly delays or clean up. If you have any questions, or if you care to report a violation, please contact 703-542-6263 or communitystandards@brambleton.org.
