Ad Hoc Technology Community Services Committee Seeks Resident Input Regarding Verizon FIOS Services Provided Through the Association - The current agreement for bulk services is due to end in early 2020, and the committee is seeking resident input regarding end of term options. The committee will host a resident comment period at their meeting on Tuesday, April 17th at 7 PM at the Brambleton Community Center (42645 Regal Wood Dr). Loudoun County Transit Advisory Board (TAB) to Hold Meeting in Brambleton - TAB is seeking resident comments and concerns regarding the Metro Connect and County Long Haul Commuter services. They will be meeting on Tuesday, April 24th from 7 PM to 8:30 PM at the Brambleton Community Center. Save the date and attend the meeting if you make use of the services and want to share your thoughts with the Transit Board.

Step Sisters' Ribbon Run 5k Next Weekend! - Don't miss the start of the 2018 Race Brambleton series on Saturday, April 21st! Register online to run or walk in the Ribbon Run by 12 PM on Wednesday, April 18th. Visit the website to learn more about the race and how it benefits local breast cancer patients.
Ribbon Run Traffic - The Step Sisters’ Ribbon Run will take place at the Brambleton Town Center from 7:30 AM to 10 AM on Saturday, April 21st. Please be advised that during this time, the southbound lane of Olympia Dr between BTC and Creighton Rd will be impacted along with some trails south of Creighton Rd. Police will be stationed along the route to guide traffic in areas of significant impact, but traffic may be slowed to allow runners to pass so please plan accordingly. Safety is a primary concern for everyone; thank you for your cooperation! To view the race course, click here. Residents are encouraged to come out and cheer for Ribbon Run participants!
Spring Yard Sale - This year’s Spring Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, April 28th from 8 AM to 12 PM. There are four yard sale spots still available at the Community Center, and you can also participate in the sale from your home. Common Area Encroachment - The Association wishes to make residents aware of our efforts to ensure that common areas are maintained with a harmonious and natural area aesthetic. Residents are reminded that per Brambleton’s Declaration, no one owner, or group of owners, is entitled to make personal or exclusive use of common areas. The Association takes this requirement seriously and does not permit exclusive personal use of common areas or encroachment into common areas.
- Changes to common areas are not permitted without prior written approval from the Association.
- Storage of personal items or equipment in common areas is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, woodpiles, play equipment, and sheds.
- Dumping or placing materials such as grass clippings or construction materials in common areas is not permitted.
If any resident, or their contractor, is found to be making personal use of the common areas, they are subject to removal, restoration, and related costs. They may also be subject to further additional charges or other sanctions permitted by the Association's governing documents. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has announced that applications for the 30th Annual McGruff Safety Camps will be made available on Monday, April 16th at 9 AM. These camps allow children entering kindergarten and first grade to learn various topics including fire safety, bicycle safety, and 911 emergencies. Ride Free to Metro Stations -
Beginning Monday, April 16th and continuing through Saturday, June 2nd, passengers will ride free on all Loudoun County Transit bus services that provide connections to Metrorail stations.
