2018 BCA Board of Directors Election & Annual Meeting Updates - Congratulations to Brian Viola on his re-election and Samrendra Nandi on his election to the BCA Board of Directors. They will both serve a 3-year term that begins immediately. The Board recognized and expressed their appreciation to Ram Venkatachalam for his service on the Board and thanked all the candidates for their participation in the election. Thanks to everyone who participated in the election online and in person; with quorum exceeding 10%, participation in this year’s election surpassed all previous records. BCA Update: Broadband & Cable Television Services and Verizon ONT & Wiring Conversion - The Ad Hoc Technology Community Services Committee and the BCA Board have been working to finalize a new agreement with Verizon with a goal of providing residents with increased internet speed, enhanced routers, and inclusion of a cable box with DVR service as part of the package. - Verizon will need to complete ONT & Wiring Conversions, by appointment, at approximately 3,700 homes in Brambleton. Verizon will begin providing notice to impacted homeowners starting in the older sections of Brambleton and will work through to the newer sections. Hand-delivered door hangers will advise residents to call Verizon to make an appointment for the necessary work. Once the work is completed, residents will receive an automatic internet speed upgrade to 100/100 Mbps at no additional charge. 2019 Budget & Assessment Mailing - The 2019 Budget & Assessment Mailing will be postmarked next week and will include the 2019 Budget summary and the 2019 Assessment rates and payment options information. The new assessment rates will be effective 1/1/2019. After your December assessment payment, please take a moment to review and adjust your payments to align with the new assessment rates. BCA Thanksgiving Office Hours - The BCA Management Office will close at 1 PM on Wednesday, November 21st for the Thanksgiving holiday. The office will reopen at 9 AM on Monday, November 26th. Any common area emergencies can be reported to 703-385-1133 during this time.
Section Acceptance Inspections - The Association will be inspecting the common areas and related improvements for deficiencies in Section 24 and Section 33 in preparation of acceptance/turnover from the Developer to the Association. Residents with common area concerns in these areas of the community are asked to email CIP@Brambleton.org with a description of the concern and location. Association staff will then inspect the concern and determine next action.
Ryan Rd West of Northstar Blvd - The Developer will begin clearing and construction activities to widen Ryan Rd between Northstar Blvd and Beaverdam Dr. This project may take up to 3 years due to the relocation of numerous utilities.
Evergreen Mills Rd and Shreveport Dr - The Developer will start construction of the new intersection at Evergreen Mills Rd and Shreveport Dr. This new configuration will relocate Evergreen Mills traffic onto Shreveport through Brambleton. Evergreen Mills will be closed to northbound thru-traffic at Belmont Ridge Rd. Construction should be completed by early 2019. This work is being completed in accordance with the Countywide Transportation Plan.

Santa’s Holiday Tour - Santa and the Arcola Volunteer Fire Department will be making their way through Brambleton on Sunday, December 2nd to wish you Happy Holidays and to collect items for needy families in Loudoun County. A map of stop locations and more information can be found here.
Salvation Army Angel Tree - Help make a child's holiday wishes come true this year by participating in the Salvation Army Angel Program! The Angel Tree is located inside the Brambleton Welcome Center and adorned with tags that have holiday wishes and needs from local children. Kids Craft for INOVA Children’s Hospital - Brambleton Community Association will be collecting No-Sew Blankets to be donated to INOVA Children's Hospital. You and your family can make blankets for a child and drop them off at the BCA office by Monday, December 31st. Click here for instructions and more details.
Cards for Soldiers - BCA is collecting Cards for Soldiers that will be donated to our local military facilities through the American Red Cross. Please donate blank, stamped cards that represent all holidays (Birthday, Thank You, Congratulations, etc.) as well as blank cards. You can drop your donation in the North Pole Mailbox in the Welcome Center (42395 Ryan Rd, Suite 100) until Monday, December 31st. Instructions and more details can be found here.

Dogs Off Leash - Please remember that in Loudoun County, including Brambleton, dogs are not permitted to roam free without a leash, and pet owners are required to pick up after their pets. To report concerns, contact Loudoun County Animal Control. Brambleton’s Policy Resolution #7, Pet Policies, outlines both the grounds for complaint and finding of a community nuisance as well as the procedures for solving pet problems.
