Government Shutdown: Delayed Assessment Payment & Late Fees Waivers - The BCA Board has approved the waiver of February late fees for single-family attached and detached homeowners who are impacted by the shutdown. If your income has been impacted by the shutdown and you would like to delay payment of your February assessment by 28 days, send an email to Ara.Galang@Brambleton.org by Friday, February 8, 2019 to request a Shutdown Assessment Late Fee Waiver.
  • Please include the following information in that email: Owner(s) name(s); Property address; Employer (Department/Agency/Contractor); and an acknowledgement that you will pay the February assessment by Friday, March 1, 2019.
  • This waiver does not apply to Summerfield or Residences owners and their Associations.
BCA Office Closing Today at 3 PM - The BCA Management Office will close today at 3 PM for staff team building.

Snow in the Forecast - BCA is ready for the winter storm that is forecasted this weekend. The equipment is prepared, supplies have been ordered, and crews are standing by. Please review the snow article in our latest magazine issue or our website for detailed snow-related information. Concerns for snow removal on BCA streets can be emailed to Snow@Brambleton.org.

2019 Assessment Rates Effective 1/1/2019 - Please take a moment to confirm that your payments are aligned with the new 2019 Assessment rates. Contact hoa@brambleton.org if you have questions or need more information regarding the various payment options available.

Christmas Tree Recycling Pickup - Services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 15th. Trees in excess of 8 feet are to be cut in half, and all lights and decorations are to be removed before placing trees curbside. Trees placed curbside after January 16th will be picked up as regular trash on scheduled collection days. BCA single-family home residents should place their trees curbside by 7 AM.
  • Please note that seasonal yard debris pickup has ended and will resume on Tuesday, March 5th.

BCA Events Survey - BCA is conducting an Events Survey to better understand the desires of our residents regarding the current and future events program. The survey can be taken here and will be open until today, January 11th at midnight. This survey is for Brambleton residents only. Information will only be used by BCA and will not be shared with any other entity.

Blasting Operations in Downtown Brambleton Townhome Area (Section 23) - Blasting operations are underway and may be felt at times by residents living near the Brambleton Town Center (Sections 17, 16, 23, 29, and Town Center Residential).

Valentine’s Day Card Making - Join Brambleton Kids Care in making Valentine’s Day cards for residents of INOVA Loudoun Nursing & Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, February 10th from 2 to 3 PM at the Community Center. Cards will also be hand-delivered on Tuesday, February 12th at 6:30 PM. Bram Bus: I Love Beer Brew Tour - Bring your sweetie, buddy, or BFF for this casual trip to three Leesburg breweries on Saturday, February 16th from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM! Start with lunch and beer at Dog Money Restaurant and Brewery, head to Loudoun Brewing Company, and end the afternoon at the cozy Black Hoof Brewing Company. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased here – transportation only.

Brambleton House Hop (aka Roving Dinner) - Come to this annual progressive dinner/scavenger hunt on Saturday, March 9th from 6 PM to midnight. This is the perfect way to meet new people in the neighborhood while having a blast! There are 4 courses total, 3 at residents’ homes, and then we end the night at the Corner Clubhouse for desserts, a DJ, and dancing! 2019 Safe Sitter Courses - We are happy to announce upcoming dates for Safe Sitter courses! Click here for a class schedule and more information. The next course takes place on Saturday, February 2nd from 9 AM to 2:30 PM. Courses are sponsored by Beat4LifeCPR and open to Brambleton residents only. Silver Knights Enrichment - Register now for Silver Knights Enrichment's chess, coding and robotics classes at the Community Center! Classes start at the end of the January and run through the spring. Visit their website and view their flyer for more details.

Girls on the Run of Northern VirginiaGirls on the Run of Northern Virginia (GOTR NOVA) is committed to building strong girls that will grow up to build strong communities. GOTR NOVA emphasizes mentorship and positive youth development practices through experiential reflection and exploration. Help bring GOTR NOVA to Brambleton for the Spring 2019 Season. Design Review - The next meeting for Design Review will be on Monday, January 14th. Applications can be submitted via email to designreview@brambleton.org. If you have any questions regarding the design review process or guidelines, please visit the website or call 703-542-6263.

Contacting the Association to Report a Concern - Concerns are regularly received by the Association. If you have a concern, you may submit a request or contact the Association directly.

Broadway Desserts Fundraiser - On Saturday, January 12th at 7 PM in the Rock Ridge High School cafeteria, Rock Ridge Sings & Performing Arts students will present an evening of your favorite Broadway melodies accompanied by an unlimited dessert buffet. Admission is $5 for students and $10 for adults; advance tickets can be purchased here. Loudoun to Assist Workers Affected by Federal Government Shutdown - The Loudoun County government is taking steps to assist federal workers whose finances have been negatively affected by the federal government shutdown. The Board of Supervisors has approved financial aid to local food pantries and a temporary fee waiver for federal workers who ride Loudoun County Transit buses. Click here for more information.

Loudoun Celebrates Completion of Claiborne Pkwy - Loudoun County officials are celebrating the completion of the link of Claiborne Pkwy between Croson Ln and Ryan Rd. 
The project constructed approximately 4,000 feet of a four-lane, median-divided roadway with a shared use path on one side of the road and a sidewalk on the other. More details can be found here.
