BCA Office Closed for Presidents' Day - The BCA Management Office will close today at 5 PM and remain closed through Monday, February 18th in observance of Presidents' Day. The office will reopen on Tuesday, February 19th at 9 AM.

Events Committee - If you would like to help shape our Events program, here is a perfect opportunity. We are currently looking for members to join our new Events Committee. Members will bring their creative ideas for new events, update current events, enhance the volunteer program, and help foster community sponsorships. Meetings will take place on the first Tuesday of the month as needed but no less than quarterly. If you are interested, please read the Events Committee Charter and complete the Committee Member Application; both can be found here.

Brambleton Pool Lifeguards - Are you interested in lifeguarding at a Brambleton pool this year? BCA is partnering with American Pool to provide pool management at our pools. Minimum starting rate for an entry-level lifeguard is $10/hr. Click here (select “Ashburn” from the work area menu) or call 703-579-0885 to apply.

BCA EVENTS

Comedy Night - On Saturday, March 2nd, come out for a hilarious night of adult comedy featuring up-and-coming comedians from NYC and DC, including our headliner Sean Donnelly. Two shows at 7:30 PM and 10 PM. $25 per person and includes the tasty popcorn/candy bar. Get your tickets here!

Brambleton House Hop (aka Roving Dinner) - Come to this annual progressive dinner/scavenger hunt on Saturday, March 9th from 6 PM to midnight. This is the perfect way to meet new people in the neighborhood while having a blast! There are 4 courses total, 3 at residents’ homes, and then we end the night at the Corner Clubhouse for desserts, a DJ, and dancing! BCA PROGRAMMING


Craft This, Sip That: Doozy Pro WorkshopResidents ages 21 and older are invited to learn the basics of creating decorative wood & vinyl signs at the Community Center on Friday, February 22nd from 6 to 8:30 PM. Cost is $45 per person. BYOB & snacks. Click here for more information and to register. Treehouse Fit Yoga - Treehouse Fit is bringing a new fitness series to Brambleton starting on Monday, March 4th. Stop by the Community Center for an open house with FREE classes on Saturday, February 23rd from 10 AM to 12 PM. Click here for more details.  Register now and save your spot!

Family and Friends CPR Classes - Join Beat4Life for their upcoming Family and Friends CPR classes! Classes take place on Wednesday, March 20th and Wednesday, May 22nd from 6 to 8 PM at the Community Center. These classes are for Brambleton residents only. Cost is $35 per person or $60 per couple. COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Construction of Approved Modifications - Owners are responsible for ensuring that their contractors adhere to Brambleton’s standards and rules. It is important to know that construction materials of any kind may not be stored in common parking lots, common areas, or in the street. Nothing, including excavated materials (grass clippings, turf, dirt, sand, rocks, etc.), may be dumped in any wooded areas, common areas, or wetlands. If you have any questions or if you care to report a violation, please contact 703-542-6263 or communitystandards@brambleton.org.

Gutter Extension Reminder - HOA approval is required for all downspout extensions, which must be buried in such a manner to adequately manage runoff and not impact the drainage on adjoining properties and open spaces, including common areas. All drainage must terminate within your property line. Above-ground extensions of downspouts are not permitted. More information regarding Brambleton Design Guidelines can be found here.
