AROUND BRAMBLETON

INSIDE BCA

Brambleton Magazine: Spring 2019 Issue - The Spring 2019 issue of the Brambleton Magazine has been mailed to all Brambleton residents, and you can view the magazine online here. If you are interested in advertising in our Fall and Winter magazine issues, please email us for rates and more information at communications@brambleton.org.

Brambleton Pool Lifeguards - Are you interested in lifeguarding at a Brambleton pool this year? BCA is partnering with American Pool to provide pool management at our pools. Minimum starting rate for an entry-level lifeguard is $10/hr. Click here (select “Ashburn” from the work area menu) or call 703-579-0885 to apply.
  • Lifeguard candidate interviews are scheduled to take place today, March 29th and Tuesday, April 16th from 12 to 6 PM at the Community Center. View this flyer for more information and to sign up for an interview.
Weed Control & Fertilizer Application - The Association’s grounds maintenance contractor has begun performing applications of weed control and fertilizer. It will take approximately two weeks to treat the entire community. Weather can impact this schedule. Please contact operations@brambleton.org if you have questions, need more information, or would like to opt out of the service (townhome grounds maintenance program only).

Street Sweeping - Street sweeping continues on developer streets throughout Brambleton. BCA townhome and VDOT streets have been completed. The sweeping will remove sand from streets in an effort to reduce the amount of debris that ends up in our streams, ponds, and other waterways. Sweeping will occur daily as weather conditions permit. Residents are asked to assist with the sweeping process by taking the following actions:
  • Park vehicles in garages and driveways so that the sweeper can service the entire street.
  • Blow or sweep any sand on driveway aprons and sidewalks into the street.
  • Blow sand off of the concrete curb and gutter portion of the street to expedite service, but do not place sand into piles on the street.
  • Place cans and toters on your driveway apron or grass strip on Tuesdays and Fridays so that all curbs can be swept.
Questions pertaining to sweeping can be sent to Isaiah at operations@brambleton.org.
