Proper Storage of Waste Containers - Trash is collected on Tuesdays, and yard waste collection (Mar. - Dec.) also occurs on Tuesdays. Trash, recycling, and scheduled bulk pickups are performed on Fridays. Bulk pickups can be arranged with the waste removal contractor via email@example.com; some items will incur an additional charge. Trash containers and recycling bins are to be put out no earlier than 6 PM on the evening before the scheduled pickup day. All containers and bins should be removed from the streets, walkways, or exterior portions of the lots following pickup on the day of service. Trash containers and recycling bins are not permitted to be stored in a location visible from a neighboring property. Additional information can be found on our website. Please contact Community Standards with any additional questions at firstname.lastname@example.org or 703-542-6263.
Pet Waste Removal - Please be a considerate neighbor and pick up and dispose of your pet’s waste. It is unsightly, unsanitary, and harmful to the environment to allow the waste to remain. There are several pet waste receptacles with bag dispensers located throughout Brambleton. Removal and disposal of waste is part of our Pet Policy as well as a Loudoun County Ordinance, whether on your own property or in a common area. More information can be found here. If you have any questions or concerns, please email email@example.com or call 703-542-6263.
Blocking Fire Lanes is Illegal - Parking in a yellow fire lane is illegal, yet many residents ignore this fact. If the space outside of a residence is designated as a fire lane, then it is not to be used as a loading zone, a parking space, or a place to wait for passengers. The fire lane is an area reserved for firefighters and emergency personnel to stage fire apparatus or park vehicles at a useful distance from a structure. BCA is monitoring this concern and follows the Vehicle Policy for all private streets. As illegal parking frequently happens after business hours, we recommend contacting the LCSO non-emergency number at 703-777-1021 to report concerns in real time.
