BCA Reminds Residents To Stay Out Of Active Construction Areas
BCA has received an urgent request from Brambleton’s developer. They are observing an increase in bicycle and pedestrian traffic in and around active construction sites. This is occurring most often after hours and on weekends, especially in the area of Loudoun County Parkway and Creighton Road west of Northstar Blvd.
The developer’s office is in the process of enhancing gates, fencing, and signage in an effort to prevent trespassing. They have requested the Sheriff’s office for increased patrols and enforcement in these areas for trespassing. In addition to the dangers related to the construction activity, deer hunting season is in progress. Residents are reminded that active construction sites are dangerous places for the public to visit. These sites are all clearly fenced, gated, and/or signed for good reasons. Please respect these controls and do not venture into any active construction sites or undeveloped land. All of our site personnel are being asked to help us enforce these rules by asking violators to leave the site immediately.
We thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Questions or concerns may be addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
