Two by Four Race - The third annual Two by Four Race Against Childhood & Canine Cancer takes place tomorrow, September 28th from 8 to 10 AM. Join two-legged and four-legged athletes and race for a great cause! All net proceeds will support cutting-edge research for cancers that kids and dogs both develop.
- Course signs will be placed along the race route in advance of the event. Please be advised that there may be some delays as police and course marshals allow runners to safely pass by.

Community Technology Committee - The BCA Board is looking for a couple more residents to serve on the new Community Technology Committee. This committee will focus on small cell antennas within the community, services and concerns related to the Verizon FiOS agreement and the future of bulk video services in the community, and other community technology-related services. This committee will meet every other month or more frequently if necessary. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 23rd at 7:30 PM in the BCA management office.
Verizon Implementation Update - Community-wide implementation of the equipment and services provided under the new Verizon bulk services agreement is scheduled to occur in mid/late October 2019. Brambleton Commuter Lot Notice - The commuter lot is owned and managed by BCA. Bus service to the lot is provided by Loudoun County. Parking is permitted only in designated spaces to ensure that buses can freely travel through the parking area. Overnight parking is not permitted. Vehicles parked overnight or outside of designated spaces are subject to immediate towing. BCA and Loudoun County are not liable for theft, vandalism, or damage to vehicles parked at this park-and-ride lot.

Brambleton Magazine: Fall 2019 Issue - The Fall 2019 issue of the Brambleton Magazine has been mailed to all Brambleton residents, and you can view the magazine online here. - Residents who have served on an Association committee or other board position or have an interest in serving the community typically make great candidates for a HOA board position. The commitment is for a three-year term.
- The Board regularly meets every even month beginning at 8:15 AM, with possible additional meetings to handle special Association business. Meetings typically last approximately two hours. The meeting time and frequency is subject to change if the new Board deems it appropriate or necessary. Specific requirements and duties for Board Members can be found in the Association’s governing documents available here.
- Residents interested in running for the Board are expected to schedule a meeting with General Manager Rick Stone to discuss the responsibilities and duties of a Board Member. This is a friendly reminder that Republic Services does not
collect latex paint in liquid form. For paint to be collected curbside, paint cans must
be completely dry or the paint inside solidified. The Loudoun County landfill will also not accept liquid paint waste. Latex paint is not considered hazardous waste material when solidified. To solidify paint, you must do the following:
- Add an absorbent material such as kitty litter, sawdust, or newspaper. A commercial waste paint hardener may also be available at home improvement stores.
- Once the paint has fully dried, the paint container may be placed at the curb with regular household waste for disposal.
Additionally, Republic Services can collect only
latex paint. Oil-based paints and stains must be taken to a Loudoun County Household Hazardous Waste event for disposal. More information about these events can be found here
