Santa’s Holiday Tour - Santa and the Arcola Volunteer Fire Department will be making their way through Brambleton on Sunday, December 8th to wish you Happy Holidays and to collect items for Loudoun County families in need. A map of stop locations and more information can be found here.

New 2020 Assessment Rates Effective 1/1/2020 - The 2020 Assessments & Budget Summary can be viewed on the BCA website here. After making your December 2019 assessment payment, please take a moment to review and adjust your payments to align with the new assessment rates. Contact hoa@brambleton.org if you have questions or need more information regarding the various payment options available.

Connect Resident Portal - FirstService Residential has launched a new and improved resident portal to access your assessment account. The new site features an improved design and enhanced security, providing access to the portal anytime from any device. Homeowners are able to make payments, check balances, and link multiple Brambleton properties under one login account. Visit our website to register for access and find additional information.

DMV2GO: 2020 Dates - DMV2GO will return to Brambleton in 2020 with two service dates per month. Click here for a full schedule and information on services provided.


BCA EVENTS & PROGRAMMING

Bram Bus: Bus to Jingle Ball - There are still a few seats left on the Bram Bus heading to the Jingle Ball concert at Capital One Arena on Monday, December 16th! Cost is $25 per person (transportation only). Brambleton residents and their guests only. The deadline to purchase seats is Monday, December 9th, so don’t delay! BRAM GIVES BACK

Care for CaregiversBCA and the American Red Cross are joining together to collect items for Caregivers Kits. Kits are provided to family members of Walter Reed extended stay patients. A list of needed items and more information can be found here. You can drop your donations in the North Pole Mailbox in the Brambleton Welcome Center until Sunday, January 5th.

Kids Craft for INOVA Children’s Hospital - Brambleton Community Association will be collecting No-Sew Blankets to be donated to INOVA Children's Hospital. You and your family can make blankets for a child and drop them off at the BCA office by Monday, January 6th. Click here for instructions and more details.


COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Design Review - The next meeting for Design Review will be on Monday, December 9th. Applications can be submitted via email to designreview@brambleton.org. If you have any questions regarding the design review process or guidelines, please visit our website or call 703-542-6263.

Signage - BCA would like to remind residents about the Design Guidelines for Temporary Signage within the community. More information about these guidelines can be found here. If you have any questions, please contact the Community Standards Advisors at 703-542-6263 or communitystandards@brambleton.org.

Compost Bins - Loudoun County Master Gardeners recommend using the trimmings from end-of-season perennials and vegetables along with leaf droppings as the perfect ingredients for composting. Brambleton residents are encouraged to compost when possible. Additional information on the Design Guidelines for Compost Bins can be found on our website.

RRPA Presents Legally Blonde: The Musical - Legally Blonde: The Musical is coming to Rock Ridge High School this Friday, December 6th & Saturday, December 7th for 3 shows only! Blasting Operations in Section 23B - Blasting operations are currently underway in Section 23B and may be felt at times by residents living in this and surrounding sections.


TALK OF THE TOWN CENTER

Art in Skateboarding - Join us at the Brambleton Library on Friday, December 6th at 6:30 PM for an exciting presentation on the visual history of skateboarding culture for both teens and adults alike. Free skateboarding decals will be provided as well! Click here for more information.

Go Bananas on TV & Hosting Santa! - Lights, Camera, Action! Go Bananas’ owners, Anne & Dana Barnes, will be featured on the local Fox 5 morning show this Saturday, December 7th at 8:40 AM. Tune in for their picks for this year’s hottest holiday toys! Then stop by the store on Sunday, December 8th from 1-3 PM for a visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus. Be sure to bring a canned food item as a donation to Loudoun Hunger Relief in order to be entered into their gift card raffle.

Loudoun County Launches I&R Program for Health and Human Services - Loudoun County is launching a call-based Information and Referral program for health and human services information and resources. The phone line, 703-777-0420, will be staffed M-F, 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Staff will work with callers to understand their needs and provide links to helpful county and community programs.
